Here's my first animation of 2012, a rough animation test of Randy running with obstacles in his path.

Done in Adobe Flash CS3.
Roughly 2 hours put in.
All straight-ahead.

Good way to help break in the new year in my book.

Very cool stuff here - so fluid and lively, even for rough animation

I really love this! I love the weight, I love the way the character gets distracted, and I love the way the action rolls into more action. Fantastic straight-ahead work, too - it's so fluid and dynamic. This is incredibly awesome!

I'd love seeing this cleaned up, but even as lines it looks amazing.

This is some really rough animation. I animate traditionally, but it doesn't feel right for me to just leave it like this. I need to clean it up a bit.

Most of it is on twos. The passing positions in each stride is on ones, and it briefly goes to threes when he jumps over the hurdle.
